Christmas is just around the corner, YAY! So, I have rounded up my favorite gifts to give to the little ones we love! We got Evie this Le Toy Van Dollhouse last year and it has been a constant hit! We gave it to her when she was 4 and it was seriously the perfect gift! She and Kerr are SO into it, that we are getting Kerr the boy version of a dollhouse- the Hape Rocket Ship! He is going to freak out, I cannot wait to see his face when he sees it under the tree! We don't keep toys in our kids rooms, but we do let Evie have her dollhouse in her room so that she can play with it during her quiet time. We will do the same think with Kerr's rocket ship! Anyways, I have linked everything that we are getting our kids this year, plus some of their favorite toys over the past several years!! OK, so here it goes, by age--
Rainbow Stacking Blocks - These are beautiful and so much fun!
Pound and Tap Xylophone Bench - Rhett is going to go crazy over this! This is my favorite ball pounding set that I have been able to find!
Wooden Noah's Ark - We have this and all 3 kids still play with it! Evie is 5! Rhett loves to open and close the door and chew on the animals hah! Evie and Kerr love to match up the animals, and figure out what slot they fit in! It's a great gift that will grow with your kids!
Music Set - bring on the ruckus! I think Rhett is going to love making music with this!
Wagon - What kid doesn't love a wagon ride! We start taking our babies in this as soon as they can sit up!
Push Car - Great for a first child! The wagon is better if you have two!
Foamnasium Starter Set - This is a great set and you can add to it over time!
Foamnasium Adventure Set - the FULL set! my kids are crazy over this!
Shopping Cart- This is what my kids have all learned to walk with! We love this cute little cart!
Shape Sorter- This is my favorite shape sorter! It comes in a little bag they can zip and unzip! We love it!
Melissa and Doug Walker- If you want a real walker, this is one of the best ones! It doubles as a toy, your little one can roll and play with the front of it, and also its the best walker! It doesn't fall over EVER! It is super sturdy and easy to pull up on, unlike those cheap plastic ones!
Hape City Block Set- If you have ever seen a cuter block set, please let me know because I am obsessed with these!!
Rocket Ship - This is what we are getting our 2.5 year old boy!
Gel Ant Farm- Kerr asked for a puppy, a kitty, and a bunny for christmas... So I got him Ants.
Doll House - We gave this to Evie last year and it was the best gift ever! She plays with it every day and we have added furniture and accessories as gifts throughout the year.
Wooden Grill Set- OK, this is the cutest thing I have ever seen!! If i weren't getting Kerr the rocket ship, he would be getting this! Saving this idea for him for next year!
Wooden Animal Barn- I love this set! This will be under the tree for all the kids from Santa!
Wooden Number Puzzle- So great for number recognition and learning to count! Evie's getting this!
Letter Sounds Puzzle- Love this for teaching sounds! This will be under our tree!
Hape Guitar- Evie and Kerr are going to freak out over these!
Wooden ABC puzzle - we have this and its so versatile for learning! We use it as a puzzle, to learn our letters and sounds, and to make words!
Hape Crane- Magnetic crane to lift and move cargo! Kerr is going to go crazy over this one! They had this at a library we went to a few weeks ago and he couldn't get enough! Can't wait to add this to his train set.
ABC cookies - such a great tool for learning letters, sounds and starting to read! Excited to use this with Evie!
Lower & Uppercase Letter Popsicles- I love this toy to learn uppercase and lowercase letters!
Expression Eggs- I am a sucker for wooden toys and I LOVE these little eggs for learning and talking about different expressions and feelings!
Science Kit- This is one of my kids all time favorite toys! Just get it, trust me!
Magtiles - We got this for the kids a few years ago and they still play with them almost every single day! I was worried to buy them because they are so darn expensive, but I would say they have paid off! Me and my husband LOVE doing these with them, its seriously therapeutic! Makes sure to get the 100 set because there aren't enough tiles in the smaller sets to build anything!
Magformers - We got these for the kids before they were old enough for the Mangtiles. These are a little easier to keep together and maneuver! I would recommend these for ages 2-3 and the Mangtiles for ages 3 and up!
Balance Bike - This is what Kerr is getting from his grandparents this year. Looking forward to seeing him rule the streets on it!
Micro Mini Scooter- We gave these to the kids last year and they ask to ride their scooters daily! I think this is by far the best brand for little ones. They are easy to ride and maneuver. Kerr was scooting all by himself up and down the streets at age 2 on this! (Make sure to get the Deluxe one that has the adjustable handle bar!)
+ I will come back and add to this list if I think of anything that I missed! Happy shopping and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
